Male Maine Coon Traits

Larger Size: Male European Maine Coons tend to be larger and heavier than their female counterparts. They can weigh between 18-33 pounds or more and have a more robust and muscular build.

Prominent Mane: Males typically have a more pronounced mane around their neck, giving them a lion-like appearance. This mane can be particularly striking and adds to their majestic look.

Outgoing and Playful Personality: While both genders are friendly and sociable, male European Maine Coons are often more outgoing and playful. They enjoy interactive play and can be quite entertaining with their antics.

Affectionate Nature: Males are generally known for being very affectionate and loving towards their owners. They enjoy physical contact and often seek out attention, making them great cuddle companions.

Dominant Behavior: Male Maine Coons can exhibit more dominant behavior, especially in multi-pet households. This can include asserting their territory and being more protective of their home and family.

Vocalization: Both male and female Maine Coons are known for their vocal nature, but males might be more vocal, using a range of sounds to communicate with their owners.
